Emerge Gallery is pleased to present Terrain: Art Inspired by Landscapes, Seascapes and Cityscapes exhibited August 1 - 30, 2020. The exhibition includes art by sixty two artists that create a wide range of work using various mediums— acrylic, drawings, encaustic, fiber, mixed media, monoprints, oil, pastel, photography, and watercolor — all inspired by landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes.
In lieu of a public opening reception, a virtual tour and artists discussion will be broadcast live on the gallery YouTube channel on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at 3 PM. The event will be archived for later viewing. Artwork in the exhibition will be available to view and purchase online through the Emerge Gallery Artsy shop. The exhibition will also include additional works only available on Artsy.

Portal, 2020
This 3D piece features folded magazine pages and printed images of an arched door, mirror, and chandelier paired with an original photograph of a forest. Though the pandemic restricted our movements, this piece reminds us that we can travel in other ways.
